Terms & Conditions

1. This offer is valid only for Sampath Mastercard, Visa Credit Cardholders and Sampath Bank American Express® Credit Cardmembers.

2. In order to enjoy the promotion, the full payment needs to be settled with a Sampath Mastercard, Visa or Sampath Bank American Express® Credit Card.

3. The offer is valid for transactions performed between 01st January to 30th April 2025.

4. The minimum transaction value shall be LKR 25,000/-in order to be eligible for the promotion.

5. This Extended Settlement Plan will be applicable only for the education institute, exam fees & school fees payments and not applicable for the books and stationery item purchases.

6. A maximum of 3 transactions per Cardholder will be eligible during the promotion period and multiple transactions shall not be combined when converting to installments.

7. Cardholder should contact the Bank Customer Care Centre via 1332 within 30 days from the transaction date to convert the transaction in to 12 months extended settlement plan after making the payment direct at the partner location. 

8. Until the customer request is received, and the transaction is converted by the Bank, any interest already charged on account of the transaction will not be reversed.

9. Offer cannot be combined with any other existing offers.

10. All instalment amounts paid are non – refundable and each instalment period of the payment plan as approved by the Bank may not be varied.

11. Once submitted, the details of the instalment plan requested above cannot be changed and part acceleration is not allowed.

12. The Bank accepts no responsibility in any way for any goods / services purchased and any dispute relating to same should be resolved by the Cardholder directly with the Merchant and any claim by the Cardholder against the Merchant will not relieve the Cardholder from his/her obligation or repayment to the Bank.

13. The general Terms & Conditions of Sampath Bank and Partners shall apply.

14. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Bank shall be final.

15. The Bank reserves the right to modify or change the Terms & Conditions of the offer.
